Israel helping Peru after earthquakeFollowing an 8.0-magnitude earthquake in Peru on Wednesday which has killed at least 510 people, President Shimon Peres has offered Peruvian President Alan Garcia assistance in whatever way is needed.

Meanwhile, the Foreign Ministry has transfered $20,000 to Peru for purchase of blankets and tents for the victims.
