Indian and Israeli Navies discuss co-developement of unmanned helicoptersIsrael navy chief Vice Admiral David Ben Bashat visited India last week to discuss, among other defense-related issues, a possible joint effort in developing unmanned combat helicopters.

In 1992 Israel and India regained diplomatic relations. Since that cautious beginning, Israel has become India’s second largest supplier of arms after Russia. India purchased $1.6 billion worth of arms from Israel last year (out of a total of $4.2 billion sold by Israel worldwide).
