Israel’s first manure-driven power plant begins operatingTambour Hefer Ecology Ltd., a new power plant in Israel, has begun producing energy. The 2.4 megawatt plant is fueled on organic waste such as manure. Located in Hefer Valley, this plant is a joint venture between GES and Hefer Ecology.
